A time has come for you and me to pick a different path.
You know you are ready because you can sense it.
So, how to choose the right path in life?
How To Choose The Right Path In Life?
“Be a bringer of the Light. For your light can do more than illuminate your own path, you can be the light which truly lights the world.” – Neale Donald Walsch
First, it is time to drop the mentality of a victim.
Life is perfect, you are exactly where you need to be.
There is a reason for you to be here and living the life that you have.
All it takes is just a shift in your attitude.
As life throws challenging situations at you, just know that they are not random.
They appear in your awareness because you are ready to deal with them; to transcend them.
What exactly does that mean?
It means that now you have the tools to deal with that particular situation or circumstance.
It means that you are ready to choose light over darkness.
It means that you have the ability to show the world how to do it.
So many are not ready yet, you have the opportunity to be the light in their dark world.
But when I say all of that, I don’t mean taking specific action.
This is the hard part for us as we are so used to doing.
But this work is different.
It’s about changing your mind.
It’s about training your mind to see light instead of darkness.

Retrain Your Mind – See Light Instead Of Darkness
“My path, my life, and my career have really been a journey from moving from, in a sense, darkness to light. From pain to joy through the experience of yoga and meditation. It’s an ongoing adventure that’s unfolding every day.” — MC Yogi
This path is so simple and yet so hard.
Let’s take this step by step.
A situation comes up that you have judged to be not pleasing to you.
The situation is really neutral, but your mind has judged it as bad, and that triggers negative emotions.
This is the moment when the work happens.
After catching yourself spiraling into negative emotions based on your judging thoughts, you acknowledge what has happened.
A situation occurred and your mind judged it bad.
What happens next depends on where you are in your awakening process.
At this point, the goal is to not allow your mind to continue with the negative thoughts.
For some, this means distracting yourself with something else.
For others, this means looking for positive aspects of the situation to change your mind about it.
And for others yet, this means realizing that this situation is not real, your mind made it up and it means nothing.
You do whatever you feel is right for you, but you do not allow your mind to continue with the negative patterns of thinking.
If you continue the same process for all situations or circumstances that come up, you are in fact training your mind to disregard the darkness and choose light instead.
How simple, and yet how difficult this seems at first.
But this is the work.
The world does not need more doing, there are plenty of people willing to jump into action.
The world needs people that are willing to work with their minds, retraining the minds to see light instead of darkness.

A New Path Of Light
“Zen is a path of liberation. It liberates you. It is freedom from the first step to the last. You are not required to follow any rules; you are required to find out your own rules and your own life in the light of awareness.” — Osho
No one wants problems in their lives.
Do you see how this new path is a way to achieve that?
It will not stop the problems from coming but it will change your mind to see your problems in a completely different light.
So the next time you are faced with a problem, a difficult situation, or an upsetting circumstance, be glad.
This is your chance to transcend the problem/situation/circumstance.
You are ready. You can do it.
And if you need further motivation, this problem will keep reappearing in your life in various forms until you learn to change your mind about it, transcend it and see the light instead of darkness in it.
If you at least attempt the new path, this will be your gift to yourself and the world.
Is this not worth the try?
But just to be clear, let’s use another example.
Your eyes catch a glimpse of something sad.
For me, this is usually in the form of an animal that appears to be in pain.
And let’s say this is not a live situation but a video.
That is a sure trigger for me into despair and misery.
But the world of the new path involves not allowing myself to go into despair and misery.
The feelings are already there; it’s too late to stop them.
But what I can do at this point is almost to ignore the feeling and watch my mind carefully and not allow it to start reacting even further.
I close my eyes and focus my full attention on the spot between my eyes.
I know, this seems counterintuitive.
It almost seems wrong not to feel sad and dwell on what I have just seen.
But again, this is the work, raising the consciousness of myself and the world.
And when you really think about it, is you feeling bad and sad about what you just watched helping the situation in any way?
No, not allowing your mind to react is helping the situation.
This is the new path to light. So simple and yet so difficult.
Let’s take a look at a few questions to cover the basic understanding of the new path:

Do we choose our own path?
“Feed yourself with the food of wisdom.
Wisdom is recognized by joy and peace.
When you allow your ways to be light you go high.
When your path supports heaviness it weighs you down.” — Raphael Zernoff
Yes and yes.
No one chooses the path for us. It is us and only us that choose the path. However, keep in mind that our mind has many levels. We are only conscious of the lower, physical thoughts in our mind. Our higher mind levels are blocked and not visible to us in our current state of consciousness. So when it might at times look to us like someone else is choosing our life path for us, it is never so. We are just not allowing the higher mind thoughts to come through to our awareness.
But that can change.
By consciously doing the work of retraining our mind to see more light we eventually reach a level where the activities of our higher mind will be visible to us.

Does Everyone Have A Path In Life?
It’s not our mission to change or direct another person’s path. There is no wrong way or right way. We each have our own life journey and our mission is to just become a LIGHT that enlightens other people’s pathways. — Jan Mckingley Hilado
Yes, everyone has a path in life. We are all heading in the same direction; towards more light.
Everyone’s path or journey through this physical path will be different.
If we are in this physical world, we all have a path that is right for us.
It’s a path that is out of this world and into our true identity.
There is no point in comparing to each other because we are all at different levels of consciousness.
Just focus on your own path to light and don’t worry about anyone else.

How do you know if you’re on the right track in life?
You are always on the right track.
Even if it seems that your life is regressing, it never is, you are always moving forward in the right direction; towards the light.
When we talk about choosing a new path, it only appears to be so because we have reached a level where we are ready to transcend some of the darkness and chose light instead.
It appears to be a new path because now we have the ability to consciously make decisions.
But rest assured that you are always on the right track.
You are always exactly where you need to be at every single moment in order to achieve the ultimate goal: transcend the darkness and merge with the Light.

Why choosing the right path is important?
Those that choose to walk in the light will experience light.
Those that choose the opposite path create for themselves the opposite experience. — Molly Friedenfeld
This appears to be contradicting the question above.
We are always on the right path but we can choose to save time and speed up the process of transcending the darkness.
In reality, this does not matter as time only exists in the physical world but in our state of awareness, it matters.
The sooner we learn to change our minds about the physical world, the sooner we will start experiencing feelings of bliss, love, and peace.
So for that reason only, it is important to choose the right path.
For that reason, it is important to start the mental work of retraining your mind and gradually allowing more light into your awareness.

True worship is to fill ourselves with the awareness of eternity, to know our godliness as beings of light.
Worship no person, or image — only the awareness of who you are becoming.” — Robert S. Cosmar
